This Sunday, July 22, 2012, from 10 AM to 4 PM, it is once again time for the East Hanover Comic Book Expo. As usual, it will be held at the Ramada Inn Conference Center Hotel, which is located at 130 Route 10 West in East Hanover, NJ. Admission is $2 (second parent and kids under 12 are free). Free parking is available on site.
The show’s special guest this time is Ken Bald, the Golden Age artist that Stan Lee has called “the best in the business.”
“At over 90, Mr. Bald is one the greats… having drawn Golden Age icons like Captain America, Sub-Mariner, The Witness, Sun Girl, Namora, Captain Marvel, Bulletman, Captain Midnight and more! As one of the primary artists for ACG he drew numerous horror and suspense stories,” said show promoter John Paul.
“He was also the artist for the Dr. Kildare and Dark Shadows comic strips. He will be sketching and signing at the show. If you would like to prearrange a more detailed commission or find out more about him, check out his website at www.kenbald.com,” Paul said.
