Comic-Con International: San Diego will play host on Saturday, July 22, 2006 to a panel entitled Promoting A Safe And Enjoyable Environment For Collecting and Investing in Comic Books.

This presentation will focus on new developments in the comic book community including a discussion of upcoming coming September grand opening of Geppi's Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.

On hand will be representatives from the newly created Network of Disclosure (NOD, http://www.networkofdisclosure.com), and the American Association of Comicbook Collectors (AACC, http://www.aacc-info.com), in addition to GEM's Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg.

The Saturday event will run from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Room 22 of the San Diego Convention Center.

Additional presenters include David Armstrong (AACC), Brent Moeshlin and Mark Zaid (NOD), among others.

“All collectors, dealers and prospective new members are welcome to attend,” said NOD's Zaid in a press release.
