Quantcast

Hake’s Americana & Collectibles was founded in 1967, the year The Beatles’ classic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album was released.

In the ensuing 47 years, we have offered an amazing array of Beatles collectibles. This auction tops them all.

Some of the highlights include a work order which was signed by each member of the band in 1963, a fan card signed by both John Lennon and Ringo Starr, a rare poster for the band’s 1965 Shea Stadium concert and the rare and large store display bobbing head figures that sold for a record $33,674 the only other time we’ve offered them. Additionally, we have a wide selection of vintage Beatles merchandise to pick from.

2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the first two Beatles albums in the UK, effectively the start of Beatlemania. Like many fads of the 1960s, The Beatles’ allure remains strong, even to this day. While the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Bruno Mars dominate modern pop charts, The Beatles are still at the top of the charts at Hake’s.

Hake’s auction is now open online and closes March 19-21, 2013. For more information on these items or to see the other 3,000+ items up for bid, visit Hake’s website at www.hakes.com.

And be sure to check out Hake’s Facebook page, which features various sneak peeks and items available for purchase.
