DC Comics; $3.99

While we definitely preferred the frequent single-issue tales of the Jonah Hex series that preceded this title, there’s no denying that writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray – along with artist Moritat – still have a handle on the character. The odd couple pairing of Hex and Dr. Arkham continues to be entertaining. There’s also a solid back-up story featuring Nighthawk and Cinnamon by Palmiotti and Gray and artist Patrick Scherberger, inker Dan Green, and colorist Mike Atiyeh. Good stuff.
