THUNDER Agents Companion Arrives In May
Wally Wood's 1960s creation, the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, is the subject of
the latest in-depth study from TwoMorrows Publishing. The T.H.U.N.D.E.R.
Agents Companion, edited by John B. Cooke, is a 192-page trade paperback
investigating the origins of the super team that was originally conceived by EC
veteran Wood and published by Tower Comics. Though they lasted just a short
time, the team has stuck in the memory of many fans. Most recently, DC has
produced the phenomenal T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, which has
dramatically rekindled interest in the group.
This compendium also
features rarely-seen artwork, a rare 28-page story drawn by Paul Gulacy, and
previously unpublished stories by Gulacy, Paris Cullins, and others. Jerry
Ordway provides the cover.
The THUNDER Agents Companion is
scheduled to ship at the end of May 2005 with a $24.95 retail
price.
