This spring's edition of the Toronto Comicon, April 29 - May 1, 2005, spotlights a wide range of creators whose work spans from the Golden Age to the present and from superheroes to the world of indy comics.

Dave Sim (Cerebus), Jerry Robinson (co-creator of the Joker and Robin), Alvin Schwartz (creator of Bizarro), Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man), Bill Willingham (Fables), Warren Ellis (Iron Man), David Mack (Kabuki), Adi Granov (Iron Man), Dave Ross (Breakout), B. Clay Moore (Hawaiian Dick), J. Torres (Teen Titans Go),Tom Fowler (Green Arrow), Jim Craig (What If?), Tom Grummett (Teen Titans), Kaare Andrews (Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One), Phil Jimenez (DC Countdown), Francis Manapul (Magdalena/Vampirella), Stuart Sayger (Shiver in the Dark), and others.

This year's show also features the Shusters, a Canadian comic book creator award that will be given at the convention. The Shuster Awards are given in honor of Canadian-born co-creator of Superman Joe Shuster. The awards will be handed out at a ceremony at the con on Saturday, April 30.
