Diamond Galleries Welcomes Morphy Auctions

Dr. & Mrs. John Morphy, Steve and Mindy Geppi, Leah Witmer, Rebecca Shaub and Sonia Hurst share a happy moment at the reception.

Steve Geppi played host to the employees of Diamond International Galleries' newest division, Morphy Auctions, this past Tuesday night, April 12, 2005. The evening came on heals of the record $1.2 Million auction results of Morphy's most recent event.

In the Galleries' Timonium, Maryland facility, with fabulous historical items never more than an arm's reach away, the evening provided an opportunity for the new employees to meet their counterparts. Dan Morphy and Tom Sage, Jr., along with their wives and staff, represented the Morphy Auctions division, while Ted and Jonell Hake, Jeff Robison and staff represented the Hake's Americana & Collectibles division.

Along with Mr. Geppi, John K. Snyder, Jr., Joe McGuckin and others from the Diamond International Galleries home office welcomed the company's sister companies as well. Chuck Parker, Larry Swanson and others from Diamond Comic Distributors attended, as did Spencer Lader from Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show, and Bob Overstreet, Jamie David, J.C. Vaughn and others from Gemstone Publishing.
