The Network of Disclosure has announced that they will relaunch their website today incorporating revisions from the comic book community. The revisions will include a new second tier membership option that, “...permits participation at a lower, more affordable cost for collectors and dealers who believe in and desire to advocate the ethical principles promoted by the NOD,” the group said in a press release.

“The new website will also, among other things, delineate the NOD Mission Statement, feature Member Editorials, and introduce Membership perks as they are added. The NOD was created in July 2006 through the efforts of more than a dozen comic book collectors and dealers, including three advisors from The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. Membership continues to grow on a weekly basis,” the release said.

According to the group's mission statement, “The Network of Disclosure is a group of comic book dealers and collectors, who have pledged to disclose any form of restoration or enhancement, to include Intact Pressing, known to exist, on a comic book in their possession or placed by them for sale. Our objective is to create a safer and more open environment for those buying and selling comic books. By publicly sharing this type of history of each of these books with our fellow collectors and prospective customers, we seek to foster both a greater level of confidence and sense of security within the marketplace.”
