It was announced Wednesday, September 5, 2007, that The Baltimore Ravens
have re-branded the club level at their home, M&T Bank Stadium, as The
Geppi Entertainment Club Level. Geppi's Entertainment Museum founder and Chief
Executive Officer Steve Geppi signed a seven-year contract for the
75,000-square-foot space to promote his various companies and related
businesses.
The Baltimore Business Journal reported that the
publicly owned facility plays host to 130 to 150 events annually outside of NFL
games.
In conjunction with this move, Geppi announced that his Diamond
International Galleries, its Hake's Americana & Collectibles and Morphy
Auctions units, and sister company Gemstone Publishing will be incorporated
under the new Geppi Entertainment banner. While Morphy Auctions remains in its
Denver, Pennsylvania location, the other companies are relocating to York, PA
effective the first week of October 2007.
"This is an exciting period.
I'm very happy to announce this transition," Geppi said. "Geppi Entertainment
brings together under one brand the efforts we have been putting forward in a
number of categories designed to promote the history of popular
culture."
The new home base puts Geppi Entertainment Auctions &
Publications in the heart of collecting in the United States and in a region
long known for its enthusiastic support of historic research.
"York has
an exciting dynamic to it. It's definitely a city and a region on the move, and
we're excited to be a part of that. This is a terrific entry into a rich
marketplace, both in terms of the history to be found and the collectors with a
vibrant interest in it. I am personally very pleased to be able to create this
opportunity," Geppi said.
"Joining the new facility in York with our
auction in Denver, Pennsylvania, this new situation offers us the chance to
invigorate our pursuit of history and to carry the word about collecting popular
culture to a new audience while continuing to serve our well established
customer base," said John K. Snyder, Jr., President of Geppi Entertainment.
The new facility, located at 3679 Concord Road, York, Pennsylvania
17402, is expected to be fully up and running by the first week of October
2007.
