Disney’s Ducktales by Marv Wolfman: Scrooge’s Quest Presenting an epic feature-length DuckTales adventure by Marv Wolfman (Tomb of Dracula, Teen Titans, Nightwing), back in print for the first time since 1990! When Magica De Spell kidnaps Webbigail Vanderquack, it's a ruse to lure Scrooge McDuck into a chase around the world...while Flintheart Glomgold destroys Scrooge's business empire back home! Soon Uncle Scrooge is facing down his enemies without his Number One Dime or his fortune. Is he up to the challenge? It's waddlin' time! "Scrooge's Quest" is the most famous Disney adventure by modern comics superstar Marv Wolfman, and this edition marks its first-ever collection in graphic novel form.
Uncle Scrooge #371: In Carl Barks' feature-length "How Green Was My Lettuce," Scrooge tries to evade a Beagle Boy raid by disguising his money as vegetables! Then Lars Jensen's "Gloves of King Midas," an ancient pair of anti-magic mitts, become Magica De Spell's latest weapon against Scrooge. In a rip-roaring comedy by Enrico Faccini, Gyro Gearloose invents "The Electronic Hissyfitter" to absorb grumpy humanity's bad vibes. And finally Scrooge buys a mythical cliffside "Higher Than Mount Everest," only to accidentally shorten it.
Uncle Scrooge #372: In honor of Uncle Scrooge's 60th anniversary, the miser's own monthly book offers several extra-classic McDuck adventures! Carl Barks' "Christmas on Bear Mountain" marks Scrooge's 1947 debut, as he tests Donald's bravery in a dangerous mountain cabin. Then Don Rosa's "Treasury of Croesus" is back in its first-ever complete North American printing. When Scrooge collects and reassembles the pieces of Croesus' temple, he finds an old foe is on his trail: Magica De Spell. Rounding out this stellar issue are a new birthday short by Mau Heymans and the first-ever Scrooge story by fan favorite Tony Strobl, as well as the opening salvo in a new series of back-cover birthday posters by Don Rosa.
