Matt Nelson and Stephen Ritter Provide Pedigree Book Update

Matt Nelson and Stephen Ritter are offering an update on the progress of their upcoming book about the greatest comic pedigree collections. In hopes of bringing fans and friends on board for the final stretch, they are working on a checklist of completed collections and have an official pedigree thread on CGC’s message boards. The checklist will be updated continuously at comicpedigrees.com, and their website will feature a direct link to the CGC thread.
Ritter and Nelson have also pointed out that their research into the pedigrees will be ongoing up until the book goes to print. They still need help filling in gaps, obtaining lists, and finding pictures of certain pedigrees as well. The book’s tentative release date is planned for late 2009.
They have stated that, “Writing a book has taught us a few lessons, of which the most obvious was realizing how hard it is to stick to a deadline, especially when we must work on the book in our spare time. Nevertheless, the end is near, and now we push forward with great effort!”
