When X-Men 3 opens in theatres Memorial Day weekend '06, a new villain will be cropping up on the big screen. Director Brett Ratner has revealed that he has cast Filipina actress Mei Melancon in the role of the telepathic, teleporting Psylocke.

The first teaser trailer became available earlier this month and has everyone on the edge of their seats, awaiting the third installment of our favorite mutant film series. The addition of Psylocke is total icing on the cake. Right?
