Laura Bates has been ramrodding an annual Hopalong Cassidy Festival in Cambridge, Ohio (Bill Boyd's home town). In our top photo (right) Roger Hall is shown with Frank Coghlan (who played in several of the Hoppy films as a boy) and Grace Bradley Boyd, Bill Boyd's widow, at the Hopalong Cassidy Festival in 1995. It's hard to believe that the beautiful lady in this photo was 82 years old when this photo was made 12 years ago! Grace is now approaching her 94th birthday, and is working with Gemstone Publishing on the definitive book about Hopalong Cassidy, to appear in late 2007.

Roger Hall is shown here in his Hopalong Cassidy outfit, 1950. Roger was the lucky little boy who was selected to appear on the front cover of Look magazine with Hoppy during the height of Hoppymania in 1950.
