Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Tim Burton, director of this week’s release of Alice in Wonderland, may next turn his attention to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, according to Deadline Hollywood’s Mike Flemming, who said Burton will team with Timur Bekmambetov and Jim Lemley to produce the film. It’s based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith that was released by Grand Central Publishing this week.
Burton has a long history of brilliant original films (Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Big Fish) and epic failure remakes (Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). He also directed Batman and Batman Returns.
