Spiffy Auctions Offers Two Days of Stamps, Coins and More

Made by the Elgin Watch Company, this watch dates to 1886

Scoop is always trying to find the most interesting auctions for our readers. Based out of Columbus, Ohio, Spiffy Auctions is conducting a two day auction through Proxibid that covers stamps, coins, watches, gold and more. They are running the auction by using the services of Proxibid. (See our accompanying article in this week's Scoop).

Day one of the auction features jewelry, pocket watches, sterling and diamonds. Day two will bring coins, gold, silver, currency, and stamps center stage. Each day promises to showcase interesting items.

For those of you not familiar with Proxibid, they help regional auction houses expand their customer base in a secure and professionally run auction environment. This means that collectors can gain access to items that they previously may have had to attend in order to bid.

Collectors who are interested in stamps may find they suddenly like a pocket watch that the site is offering. Someone who only visited looking for coins may suddenly realize that a Violin being offered will fill that space on their shelf. Expanding our hobby is the surest way to longevity and success.

You can visit Spiffy's offerings by visiting www.proxibid.com or Spiffy's site at www.spiffysauctions.com.
