Heritage Jewelry & Watch Auction Results

Heritage Auction Galleries' inaugural fine jewelry and timepiece auction, held December 4, 2006 at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas, finished with over 1,000 bidders participating, and realized $1,469,261 for 800 lots offered.

“I'm very pleased with the results of our first jewelry auction,” said Jill Burgum, Director of Jewelry Auctions for Heritage, in a recent press release. “Our preview events were very well attended, as was the auction itself, with the auction room full for both sessions. It's gratifying to see that there is so much local interest in fine jewelry, not to mention the support we got worldwide through our strong Internet presence.”

Highlights from the auction include: a colored diamond and platinum ring from Tiffany & Co. sold for $71,700; a diamond and platinum pendant, which brought $38,240; and a gentleman's diamond and gold ring, went for $26,290.
