Indiana Jones Well of Souls Playset Realizes $1,999.99
An Indiana Jones Well of Souls playset was sold on eBay for $1,999.99 when the purchaser used the Buy It Now option. The action playset was created in 1982 by Kenner for the first Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark. It has been graded MISB AFA 85 near mint+ and was described by the seller as having perfect corners and tape. Indy was created by science fiction/adventure king George Lucas and made his debut in 1981. Played by Harrison Ford, Lucas alumni from Star Wars, the character pays homage to action heroes from the serial films of the 1930s. Indy immediately became very popular, garnering three sequels; the most recent, Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, is currently in theaters. Indiana Jones can also be found in novels, in the Young Indiana Jones TV show, video games, and more. |
