Loads of New Cereal and Snack Premiums
First up, Kellogg's has been keeping quite busy coming up with innovative (and sugary) breakfast ideas. There's the new Lilo & Stitch cereal, featuring "naturally sweetened chocolate cereal"... with marshmallows. We'd really hate to see the color this concoction ultimately turns the milk. Then, there's a special edition cereal based on the upcoming animated release, Robots: The Movie. This "Robo Berry Blast" cereal is strawberry flavored and artificially colored with greenish-blue, red and purple cog-shaped corn puffs. Next up is the new Scooby-Doo Berry Bones cereal in red and purple, advertised as "bone-shaped cereal that tastes like berries!" Lastly from Kellogg's are the new Frosted Mini-Wheats Maple & Brown Sugar boxes offering NASCAR remote control U.S. Olympic racers for $19.95 and the official order form on the box's side panel. Of course, Kellogg's isn't alone in its promotion of new and classic characters. On specially marked boxes of Golden Crisp and Fruity Pebbles, Post offers to unlock the "lost episode" of Cartoon Network's Teen Titans exclusively on Postopia.com. The boxes contain Postokens with codes that, when entered at the site, screen the previously unseen episode. Not to be outdone, Nabisco recently released Cheese Nips shaped like Nickelodeon's Fairly Oddparents and Dreamworks' Shrek characters. Find all these and more at your local grocer's. |
