Thoth-Amon Mini-Bust
One of the most powerful and evil adversaries ever faced by Conan the
Barbarian was the ancient Stygian sorcerer Thoth-Amon.
Created by
Robert E. Howard in the Conan story "The Phoenix on the Sword,"
Thoth-Amon became a recurring threat to the Cimmerian throughout his
various prose and illustrated adventures over the intervening
decades.
Thoth-Amon is the fifth release in the Conan series of
mini-busts from Dark Horse Deluxe, and is offered in a limited edition of 2,500.
Sculpted by Tony Cipriano, Thoth-Amon was inspired by the artwork of Cary
Nord, current illustrator of Conan's monthly adventures from Dark Horse
Comics.
