Pittsburgh Comicon in Photos

Brian Michael Bendis headlined this year’s Pittsburgh Comicon and had a long line for each of his autographing sessions.

Last weekend's Pittsburgh Comicon (April 21 - 23, 2006) featured a wide array of guests, retailers, gaming opportunities and other distractions for area fans. Held at the ExpoMart in Monroeville, Pennsylvania (about a half hour from downtown Pittsburgh), comics fans found the return of Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers) very appealing. Numerous other comic book guests such as Howard Chaykin, George Perez, Billy Tucci, David Mack, Mike Oeming, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti were joined by Star Wars guests and others for the three day show.

Scoop photographer Michael Solof journeyed to the show and took the pictures below to provide just a taste of the convention.
