Hellboy creator Mike Mignola took his first steps in the Dark Horse incarnation of Conan the Barbarian's world in Conan #29 - 31, a three-part interpretation of Robert E. Howard's story “The Hall of the Dead.” Providing a variant cover for each of the three issues himself, Mignola scripted the stories for regular series artist Cary Nord and the results were some great Conan moments. While we look forward to new regular writer Tim Truman settling in following Conan #32, we'd definitely like to see more of Mignola's scripting (and art, for that matter) on the series.
