Iron Man/Captain America: Casualties of War #1
Marvel Comics; $2.99
Two side of conflict come together to try and
talk through there differences. It's a common enough thing and a staple of
conflict resolution training for mediators. But, can two sides so apposed and
willing to turn there backs on decades of friendship solve their problems so
simply? Can Captain America, who believes the Superhuman Registration Act is a
violation of civil liberties, and Iron Man, who has put all of his faith in a
government regulated program, find common ground in an issue that has torn the
Marvel Universe in half? Those are the questions posed to readers in this
Civil War tie-in from Marvel. Throughout the issue, readers seem to
relive the history of past conflicts as these two giants among superheroes try
to reason to one another. But in the end, will anything really be
resolved?
