First off, this book is beautiful. Its oversized glory is worthy of an oversized character like Hip Flash. This hyperkinetic blend of Blade Runner, Moebius, The Maltese Falcon, Doctor Who, maybe a dash of director Luc Besson, and a heavy dose of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom has congealed to form some seriously enjoyable science fiction. If you have passed on the Hip Flask comics, Unnatural Selection (Volume 1 in the book series) or the current Elephantmen series, do yourself a favor and dive right into this one.
