Ape Entertainment; $6.95
Last summer, Ape Entertainment debuted a three-issue mini-series that took an odd view of the world's first man who could fly under his own power. He wasn't the only one who could do so for very long. Suddenly, just about everyone could fly, and the whole world changed. Paul Krutcher, the character in question, was actually afraid to tell people about his experiences, then someone else got credit for being first...well, it's a little more complicated than that, but the talented creative team of Skipper Martin, Christopher Provencher, and Wes Dzioba have succeeded in capturing lightning in a bottle a second time with this charming, human tale. This one is a 52-page, prestige format graphic novel.
